PH Whale Watch & Dolphin Cruise in Dominica

2.PH Whale Watch & Dolphin Cruise in Dominica

★★★★★★★★★★4.5 · 238 reviews · from $96

The boat carries no more than eight people, includes water and rum punch, and uses a hydrophone when conditions allow. Cruise-ship pickup is available from Roseau, but hotel pickup is not.

“The guides were very welcoming and explained what to expect. They advised that seeing the whales were not guaranteed. Refreshments were provided and waterproof ponchos. The latter stopped us all from getting soaked, in the heavy downpour that we experienced. The guides were fantastic and provided a sea sickness tablet - excellent customer care. I would advised people to take their own supply. Again were very knowledgeable about the Whale population and informed about they collaborate with the Whale researchers. On our trip we saw two female and two baby whales.”

★★★★★★★★★★4.7 · 159 reviews · 7 hours · from $77

Spend seven hours with Moto Marina Tours watching humpback whales in Samaná Bay, then head to Cayo Levantado for buffet lunch, swimming, and beach time. Guides including Iliana, Rayner, and Salomón have earned praise for clear explanations and friendly service. Expect snacks, drinks, boat travel, and possible rough water.

“We loved our guide, she spoke English fluently and was overall lovely - we learnt about which whales we saw, how they live, eat, mate, sing, etc. We saw some whales surfacing to breathe, but unfortunately no tail breaches (much less full body jumps). It was still quite fun nonetheless, and the beach on Cayo Levantado was beautiful - no sargassum (Feb 10th, windy day), clear water and the sun was shining.”
