Grand Cayman – Bioluminescent Bay Tour

11.Bioluminescent Bay Tour

★★★★★★★★★★4.5 · 288 reviews · from $95

Board at Cayman Islands Yacht Club at 5:30 pm for a small-group boat trip to Starfish Point and Grand Cayman’s Bioluminescent Bay. Guides such as Pepe, Aaron, and Yassen have helped guests spot sea stars, use snorkel gear, and find the darkest water for the strongest glow. Bring a swimsuit, towel, snacks, and drinks.

“This is one of the coolest things I’ve ever done. The picture and video don’t do it justice. To see the tiny plankton light up as you move past them. I highly recommend using a snorkel mast so you can see what’s happening around you. Slowly moving your hands in front of you looks like you are shooting electricity out your finger tips. Our crew was great- very friendly, very knowledgeable, and happy to shoot pictures and video for us. This boat has a double hull, so we could swim under it for extra darkness to see the glow even better. Would highly recommend this excursion and this crew.”
